Check-in/out

Check-in is at 2pm, Check-out is 12pm. We do not allow check ins after 10pm. Please plan accordingly. Early check-in/out may be available for a small fee, please contact us for availability.

Cancellation

If you should need to cancel your plans, please give us at least one week (7days) notice so that we can have time to fill the site.  If you do so, we will be happy to provide a full refund including your one night reservation fee.  If you are cancelling during the week (7 days) prior to your visit the one night reservation fee will not be refunded.

To preserve the beauty of the campground and to provide an enjoyable camping experience for all, our regulations are based on common sense, decency and consideration of fellow campers.  Breaking the following rules may be grounds for removal.

Conduct: We have quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. This means no loud noises, especially generators, loud music, gas carts, or rowdiness. We must prohibit alcoholic beverages or display of firearms off your site, smoking inside camp buildings and use of fireworks or explosives. Parents or guardians must monitor the safety and behavior of their children at all times.

Site Appearance:  Trash is to be picked up on your site and disposed of in the dumpsters. Do not drive nails into trees, move or remove supplied tables, or discharge sewage or gray water on the ground. The only flags that may be flown are the US flag and standard Military support (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast-guard, Space-Force)

Trash: Dumpsters are provided for all refuse and garbage. Only household waste in dumpsters. Please do dispose of trash behind your sites in the woods. A $50 fee will be charged for trash left on site.

Vehicles: Speed limit is now 5 MPH. Please be very cautious when exiting the upper loop as this can be a congested area. Yield to on coming vehicles when exiting upper loop. Please do not park on the grass areas, 2 cars per site MAX. We offer overflow parking by the cabin. All cars must have a Nature’s Getaway hang tag.  2 car tags will be provided per site, extra tags can be purchased for $5.00 for a day pass for extra family members or guests. No off-road vehicles (ATV’s, dirt-bikes, etc.) may be operated on the property.  Golf-carts are permitted, to be driven by licensed drivers only.

Fires:  Firewood is available for purchase through the office.  Outside firewood is not allowed as it can import pests and insects. Do not cut existing shrubs or trees. If you should have an issue with a nuisance tree please contact us and we will take care of it. Do not move fire rings. Always attend to hot fires and extinguish all fires (no smoke/heat) before retiring for the evening or departing your campsite.

Pets: Pets are always welcome to NGP. Up to two pets are permitted.  They must remain on your site or be leashed at all times. Do not leave pets unattended outside of camper. Clean up after them.  No pets allowed on playground or within fenced pool area.

Trespassing:  Campers and their children and pets must respect the privacy of their fellow campers and their sites. Hiking is permitted across the highway in the state park, trespassing on our neighbors’ grounds is not permitted. We have posted no trespassing signs on the outskirts of our property, please respect other people’s property and stay within the signs.

EXTRA CHARGES

  • Pump Out free in rotation on designated days for seasonal and monthly guests (if flag is up before 9:00 AM.), otherwise a charge of $25
  • More than 4 persons/two cars per site: $5 per extra overnight person, $5 per car;
  • Six month off season storage on seasonal sites is available for $200.
  • Early check-in/Late Check-out: $5 per hr interval.
